    Did a private tour with Charoula. She was very kind and funny and we had an amazing time! Learned so much about the history of Athens and I 100% recommend, Ευχαριστώ!

    I took the “Athens Street Culture & Food Off the Beaten Path” on 8/3 with Christi, and would unquestionably give a 5 star review. I’m from New York so I don’t exactly know where the beaten path is in Athens, but the places that Christi took us were definitely more mellow and authentic feeling (also with great food) than a lot of the tavernas, etc. that are in the central area.     Wow! What an amazing tour guide company! Meeting up before the tour was easy and well organized; we received headphones and ponchos since rain was in the forecast. Eli, our guide, was OUTSTANDING! She took us back in history with her storytelling style, sometimes switching to speaking in present tense for a story, to fully immerse you in the history.     Our favorite experience in Athens. Do the food tour! A great opportunity to eat like a local and try a huge variety of Greek foods. We don't normally do tours but this is one where you really gain a lot of insight from having an expert guide you. Our host Evelina was absolutely delightful and very knowledgeable. A must do!

    We did the Acropolis tour with Sissy and had such a great experience. Very glad we did the tour as she provided so much information that you won’t read on a plaque or a self-guided tour. Highly recommend doing this!

    We loved the cooking class and would recommend it to anyone looking to make and try amazing Greek dishes. Out of the 7 courses we made, it is difficult to decide which was the best. Our teacher was great and taught us techniques to ensure we can make the food again at home. It was a great ambiance, and the food was amazing! Thank you for such a great time!

    We booked 3 tours with Athens Walking Tours and thoroughly enjoyed: Our first day city and Acropolis and Museum tour with personable Fotini, our Off the Beaten Path afternoon tour with amazing and talented Christiana (we walked into an alley where an entire orchestra of traditional instruments were jamming!); and our cooking class we were privileged to partake in with wonderful 'Lucy' with enough leftovers for lunch the next day (although the 7 of our adult family group ate well, perhaps not the … – show

    Great tour of the Acropolis with our guide Dorina. If you have never been there, it helps so much to know the history of what you are looking at. Book the morning tour if you go in the summer.

    Our food tour was absolutely amazing. Our guide, Evelina, was fantastic and very impressive. The walking was actual not very far, maybe about 2 miles in total over 3.5 hours, slow relaxing pace. We had a ton of food and ending with some amazing Souvlaki! Thank you again Evelina!! Highly recommend this food tour!

    Anthi Dipla does a literally mythical job of showing off some of Athen's priceless treasures! Rather than get bogged down in technical details, Anthi takes a narrative approach to the history of the Acropolis, highlighting the role Athena played in the ancient and even modern Athenian consciousness.     Stelios, the god of tours! Possibly the nicest person in Athens. Normally I don't enjoy the historic sites, but it is refreshing to see someone with such a passion for the Greek mythology and history. He was incredibly accommodating and made sure the tour was tailored to our preferences. His knowledge and facts and Greek god gossip had us all enthralled. Thanks for a great day.

    What an amazing experience! Highly recommend! It was so informative. Our guide (I can’t remember her name now, Katarina or Katia, something like that) was absolutely amazing! She was so full of knowledge and it was so much nicer having a person guide you around and give you interesting facts, and someone you can ask questions to, then an audio guide.     Kate our guide was lovely.

    We were not for one second bored as she was engaging and passionate.

    Kate has graduated from her university studies in your guiding where it was mandatory to visit 50 sites and learn in depth about Greek history.

    You will not be disappointed!

    The walking tour of Athens and the Acropolis was fantastic. The information was interesting and detailed enough to give us an overview of the history of the area. The early tour start and guide allowed us to navigate our way through a very busy location much better then if we had done it ourselves. Thankyou.
