We ate downstairs amid ruins and growing trees. One of our parents lamented, she would never be able to eat spaghetti again, because this was the best spaghetti she had ever had.
All our dishes were well prepared. The service is friendly. Remember you are on Greek time and slow service is good service.

There are hidden costs, do not think anything is complimentary here, not even the starters they serve without asking you

We visited this restaurant while we were on holiday and staying in the Plaka area. After reading reviews, I ordered the Moussaka which was probably the best I've ever had! Served in a ceramic pot, it was just delicious. My friend ordered a beef dish also served in an individual pot. It was excellent as well but I did like mine more. The waiter was very pleasant and service was excellent.

Greeted & seated quickly, with a great, attentive waiter. The food was impeccable, and it was very difficult to make a decision of what to order. The Lamb cooked in a clay pot is rich and soul-satisfying! And, the view, unbelievable.

Excellent menu with local twist and the heartful and kind staff really made the atmosphere cozy. They also knew about their wines. We visited Daphne twice during our Athens stay. We tasted ’Mastika’ very first time- wonderful digestive after meal!

Confortable and romantic place. Good opportunity for a romantic dinner. Candlelights and a special menu give a romantic ambience. Price is a quite high. Food and spice are ok, not a great highlight.

Very good stuffed pepper and tomatoes, as well as moussaka!! Stuffed pepper was a little bit dryer compared to the juicy tomato that flavored the rice. But overall, service was great and food was delicious. And try their olive oil if you order bread…wasn't a huge fan of the olive paste they give- it's a little dry

A bit disappointed… At the beginning, all was good, the food and also the waiters were nice, but at the end all changed. At the time of payment, we were being charged for the ‘courtesy starter’ that we didn’t even asked for. Furthermore, as a restaurant hostess, I can say that asking for a tip is a bit ugly. I think that each customer should give what he/she considers without being “pressured” in any way. In conclusion, there are better restaurants in the same zone of Athens.

Good traditional Greek food. Nice ambiance, friendly staff. Reasonable prices. Great views to the Acropolis on the first tables outside. Fast service. Recommended.

We ate there 2 nights in a row!! Had the moussaka, lamb stew, baklava and the stuffed grape leaves. Absolutely the best meal I have had in my life!
