Given this restaurant was Michelin recommended, we expected better things. Unfortunately, of the three dishes that we ordered, none of them were very good. The baby gem salad with Wasabi sauce tasted quite strange, as was the ravioli with pork. The octopus was the best one, but it was way too expensive. The best thing was the bread and the butter which was very good

In Athens there are thousands of places to eat. One or four on every corner. But if you want a unique food and beverage experience at a reasonable price, then visit Okio. During the high tourist season you'll want to make reservations, but in the off season, if you show up when the open you'll likely get a table. The bartender is magical and our server, Spiridoula, had food and beverage recommendations that hit the mark each time. A couple should plan to get between 3—5 plates for dinner and each will be a delight. Fish of the day; delicious. Steak tartare, fantastic. But the real star was the Mediterranean Ravioli. A coiled surprise that makes your tongue leap for joy. Not your average Athens meal, but then again, you want your trip to be memorable, right?… – show
Service was ok. The decor is nice. The food itself was terrible.
We were the only customers at the time
The beetroot dish was overly sour. Barely any other flavour but raw beetroot and the tamarind.
The beef tartare was so salty it was inedible.
The octopus and croquettes were bland and the herb oil was flavourless.
The white wine they serve by the glass did not compliment any of the dishes.
Food was very unbalanced and made no sense. Walked away barely touching the food.
I can't understand how this restaurant is recommended by the michelin guide…
Do yourself a favour and go next door to Aneton instead… – show

Immaculate dining experience on every level: great food, attentive, trained and personal service, nice setting. Staff seemed very proud of what they do — and rightfully so! Bravo! Could broaden selection of vine by the glass.
